I’m wondering that fans in NA knows who is Oliwa? Well I can say that even in Europe(at least in Finland) lots of people who follow hockey know Oliwa. Or am I just thinking that, cause I see it as self-evident that people know who Oliwa is? Or do only people who follow though guys in NHL know Oliwa? I myself really enjoy watching hockey fights, but those are so rarity in Finland that I have to watch NHL fights in the internet. About playoffs I am cheeering for Flames-Philly final ;D

The Lightning lost a tough game on Saturday! Those two quick goals hurt badly. The second one reminded me of the USA-Slovakia Game One. Weird bounces. Too bad that Primeau got that big motivation. He had something to prove on Saturday, and he did! Congrats to Flyers--but we'll get you yet! LOL (i hope)

while i like Kiprusoff and Nieminen has a special place in my evil little hockey heart .. at this point i don't care who wins anymore..I'm a Canucks fan in mourning and still too sensitive to support Calgary.. but rather see lightening take it then either the sharks or philly.

After my favourite NHL team Montreal is out, I don't care too much who's winning.. I hope Calgary, because of a) it's the only team from Canada in final 4 and b) Miikka Kiprusoff. Heh, a Polish friend and colleague of mine didn't know that Oliwa is Polish. And yes, he claims to be a hockey fan . We went to see SM-liiga semis and finals here in Oulu during his last visit this spring.

Lukasz.. Right. Thanks for this insight into minds of Polish guys I was offered a position in Warsaw a year ago, but had to decline having another project for 2 more years.. But maybe after that I'll try Warsaw - so this info is much appreciated And this is where to start when you're planning go to US: www.baseballhalloffame.org/hofers_and_honorees/hofer_bios/ruth_babe.htmHe's the only baseball player I can name without 15 min hard thinking.. . But it's all I need to beat my friends in Trivial Pursuit (Seriously, if the question is about baseball, the answer is always Ruth) Regarding Stanley Cup Playoffs: It's just awesome that Calgary is in the finals! To Calgary!

Eve, why do you think that this is characteristic only for Poles, I think that Swedes aren’t better As for baseball and American football my destiny is died knowing only one player for each sport, as you Babe Ruth and Sebastian Janikowski in football only because he is my compatriot! Calgary flames must win Stanley cup and I suggest their trainer to give me the chance to watch Oliwa in the ice!

Sebastian Janikowski played for my alma mater, FSU. He was AWESOME. We called him the Polish Powder Keg.

Eve, why do you think that this is characteristic only for Poles? I really don't think that, I actually like Poles. I was there for two months last summer and only met cool ppl. And about Polish (and other slavic) guys, it's always impressing how polite you are . Only "bad thing" I remember from Poland is that you ppl drive like maniacs - I was constantly scared to death while driving (altogether 10000 kilometers of schock treatment) Cool, now I also know one American football player - Janikowski! Have to remember that... And the first NBA player I can name is Hanno Möttölä - from Finland of course.
