i e-mailed the government a few months back, saying that they should back the ''best sport'' with government funding, and they replied with the fact that they can't give funding until the sport has a unified and stable structure. so basically we have to sort it out before they will help us. They have also said in the past that they would want GB to be a Top 10 nation before they gave funding. Exactly how we are supposed to become Top 10 without funding, they didn't answer...

Great Scots Oups sorry! Yes I'm French, but did I forget to mention I was living in England? So any news on ice hockey in the Green Albion, I'm interested in Hope France (coming down from Elite) will draw GB in division 1 next year And if anyone can explain to me what happen to the London Knights (who becam the London Racers I think), that would be much appreciated! Oh and also: if anyone manage to see some NHL games apart from the one on 5, let me know how you do that Let's go Bisons!

And if anyone can explain to me what happen to the London Knights (who becam the London Racers I think), that would be much appreciated! Technically, the Knights and Racers are different teams. London Arena closed down and the Knights decided to fold. New team owners decided to create a new team called the London Racers playing out of the Alexandria Palace. Within a few months, the Haringay set-up had kicked them out of the Ally Pally and they finished the season in Lee Valley's rink. My understanding is that London Racers will play again next season, and Dennis Maxwell is supposed to have signed as player/coach. They will play the whole season out of the Lee Valley Rink. Graham.
