8:00 pm Raleigh, NC USA 83F (28C). In the 90s (30s) during the day. Humid. THreats of thunderstorms every evening but no rain ... and it's badly needed. Trying to figure out which to watch tonight ... hockey ... or American Idol. Hockey .... or American Idol. This finals is a tough one for me ... I like BOTH teams!!!

roots, If you don't like rain, don't move to Vancouver. Move to Victoria instead.....much better sunny day to rainy day ratio there. Currently in London (UK): Still pretty nice, probably about 10-15 C. Partly cloudy, partly summy, partly smoggy....... Mostly smelly.

Vancouver, B.C Latitude: 49.11N Longitude: 123.10W Altitude: 3m. Monday, 7:11pm Overcast (Cloudy), 20°C to aj and roots: this global warming has somewhat changed the climate around here - less rain but more clouds. Normal Rainy season was from early Oct to early May, now for the past few years it is from late Oct to early April. They are also predicting drought conditions for all of BC during the summer with a forecast to set a record for the least amount of rain in over 80 years. Look for a record number of forest fires as well. One stat: precipitation from Jan 1st: 369.4mm normal year from Jan 1st to date: 502.3mm
