a moment of silence for our old friend the 'word association game' who we appear to have broken ..or perhaps it died of a broken heart when we deserted it for the other board, although we did try and pay it a visit on occasion....ahem hats off please gentlemen...ladies please leave a kind word for this hard working thread.

Roots: You make me giggle and that is definitely a good thing.... But I did dress in black for this special occasion, had my moment of silence and have organized a wake in our old fathful friend Word Association Game's honour. But His or Her's (whichever it may be) memory will live on in the name of it's first born known as WAG on the new site. Have we finally lost our minds?

I don't know what happened to the old wag. It was there a few minutes ago. 179 pages all in all. It had a N/A so I decided to make a "fix the board" operation (an admin feature). Having done that I looked for it again to see how many post in contained, but it appears to have gone. Maybe it was broken or something, I don't know. Right now, it doesn't appear to have influenced the number of posts -- 9,095, but let me do a post re-count if that exist among the admin features, and then report back.

'Recounting posts" doesn't exist. I have made a search for "word association" - past 30 days - and the old thread does not appear to exist. Odd!

'Recounting posts" doesn't exist. I have made a search for "word association" - past 30 days - and the old thread does not appear to exist. Odd! DanCan....I found it (the wag). Here's the reason it "disappeared"....actually it didn't...it was always here Speaking as an admin ....when you see an N/A next to a post, it means that a post from that thread has been deleted. "Fixing the board" (the admin feature) does not rectify the "N/A", but making a new post (like I just did on the old wag) does. In fact when you 'fix' a board while the N/A is there, then it pushes the thread to the back of the board (i.e. on the last page).. I hope that solves this! ;D the fact that you restricted the post to "past 30 days" only was the reason the search did not find it - after you inadvertently pushed it back (by "fixing the board") it essentially became the first ever post on this board, and was placed as if it was before the "Who Let the Marmot Out?" thread on Nov 30th, 2003! ;D

I didn't knew that, Gurj. Thanks.
I only know that if there's a N/A the last post has been deleted by a user. If there's a "1", it means that the last post has been deleted by an admin.
Btw, it looks like the thread is messing up the graphics in IE6. How does it look in your browser? Maybe we should kill it?

I know it looks good on Mozilla and Safari (Mac), but it looks terrible on IE6 - and 90% of our users use IE.! So I'm going to kill the thread now.
