Thanks Sammy, but I think it was 70% luck and 30% hard work. Wondered what might have happened if there weren't that many injuries to marquee players. Also, I guess that the season was really special in the sense that there were quite few top scorers. St. Louis won the Hart Trophy with 94 points, and Sakic came in next with only 87 points. Last year, I think there were 10 players with 90 points or more. Iginla, Nash and Kovalchuk will share the Maurice Rocket Richard Trophy. They tied with 41 goals each. According to the NHL web site, not since 1963 have so few goals led the league. The reason I won the draft, I guess, was that I picked a number of consistent players (Hossa and Alfredsson in particular), and that I managed to get of rid of Savard in the 2nd half (he was injury prone and I warned about this at the 2nd half draft) and I picked up Gomez who turned out to be a real point machine (pure luck). Congrats with your two trophies, I'm sure that they will fit nicely into your barn. ;D

I have always thought that Team Europe's succession is much more important than my own

Team Bling Bling had a better second half so I was able to barely crawl out of the bottom spot but more importantly I really enjoyed the competition. Thanks for the opportunity to participate.
Congrats to all the winners and to team Europe for your overall win!

Damn, it really wasn't MY year! What could I say? Badly treated by injuries, or what? No, I know, lousy exuse!
At least I got the SP-trophy. The most important one, wasn't it, hehe? Thanks to my teammates!
...and again: THANKS to DanCan for his excellent work!

Man, we NAs lose year after year ... but not next season. I have my strategy all mapped out already! Congrats to DanCan and thanks for all of your hard work on this. It was fun, until I lost Bertuzzi, et al.

Darn I came in second on the year and nada! Well not quite. I will get my name engraved on the SP trophy and had a lot of fun. My congratulations to DanCan on his convincing win and my thanks to him as well, for this year would have looked a lot different without him, just looking at these pages is testament to his hard work for all of us! Three cheers for DanCan! He gets my vote for team captain next season!
