Wow ... Dan-Can ... you're really all over the SE Coast! Florida, Savannah (I hope you went to Charleston too ... it's such a lovely town), the Smokies and DC. I don't know where you're going in the Smokies, but they are lovely gently mountains ... although significantly prettier in all three other seasons simply because they don't get a ton of snow. But if you're going to Asheville, you should enjoy that. Try to take a tour of the Biltmore House if possible. There is a lovely B&B in Asheville called the White Gate Inn run by two gay guys with impeccable taste. www.whitegate.net if you want to make reservations there. DC is one of my favorite cities. I lived in DC for 6 years and loved every second of it. Gee, I can't imagine why you would rather spend an extra day there rather than stopping in Raleigh I couldn't change my trip anyway ... sorry about that. But I am still working on those free tix. So if you DO want them, let me know by Sunday evening. I'm pretty sure I can come up with them and would simply drop them off at Will Call at the RBC Center on Monday for your pick up on Tuesday. However, I'm sure you can get tix to any Caps game while you're in DC. They are one of the few teams who are playing worse than we are! Enjoy your trip and if I don't hear from you by Sunday evening, I'll just assume you won't be stopping in Raleigh.

I use to get streaks when using Glass washer fluid with "whatever additive" Now I use ordinary windshield washer fluid with newspaper as my rag.....seems to work with only minor streaking problems.
My main vehicle is a 2001 Toyota Tundra Extended Cab 4X4. (4.8L V8) Only available in NA ! Typical Toyota ....very reliable, handles like a car and is better then most in it's class on gas.
I also have a '78 VW Super Beetle Convertible. 100%Original and in mint condition. This one I baby and it only sees summer roads.
We also have a 41 Willy's Jeep. Another collectors item.....

I know I might have asked this before but here it is again: Do you have automatic or manual gearboxes in your cars?

Both my vehicles have manual transmissions. (The Honda has the cutest little gear shift that sticks up out of the front of the dash.)

DAMN! DAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMN!
I was in a car accident with my mum and brother today. Nothing serious, but I'm not sure if my car can be repaired properly. My mum was driving and she made a mistake when we were on a crossroads and another car hit us from the right side. Nobody got injured.

I've had a mix of manual and automatic in the past. Currently... Corolla: 5-speed manual Firebird: automatic
Glad things are okay, Pihinalle. Does that mean you'll have to get a new car? I'm thinking about getting an older Volvo...
Bling, I was checking out a Honda Element the other at a car dealership near me and spotted the gear shift's position. Yeah, it's sure boxy and different looking.

It might be that I have to buy a new car. Of course I have already planned that. I have thought about Toyota or Mitsubishi from the late 90s'.

Marrella, you're absolutely right abouth the Caps. We went to see them play vs Phoenix. Shut out! Car question: at home we have a Toyota Corolla (hmm..did I spell it right?). Before we went to Bahamas we rented a Dodge Durango (perhaps to big for the two of us ) On our trip from Fort Lauderdale to D.C. we have rented a Dodge Stratus. Don't know whether its better than the Toyota, but it sure looks more fancy

Manual.. I like to 'drive' my car. Good to hear you're ok Pihinalle! Hey you're a Finn. In Sweden many Finns tend to drive Volvo and Mercedes a lot. At least it used to be like that.

IMO Mercedes takes your big money and gives you no more than other cars. It's the brand that costs. There's no Volvo that suits me. They seem too big TJ 0!!!!!!!
