The national team roster has now been revised with the official rosters. Keep in mind that players will be added as the tournament unfolds, so read the thread frequently.

The stats for the first day has been posted. Note that Gaborik made 6 points for his shorthanded and goalwinning goal. If one player makes a goalwinning goal, you only get 3 points (not 5 for a goal and GWG). But since Gaborik's goal also was SH, he made 3+3 = 6 points.
Remember to check your scores. If I make any mistakes in the counting, please note it here in the discussion thread.
And remember to post your rosters for tomorrow. The first games start 4:15 pm CET, and the rosters must be posted before that if your roster includes players in the first two games.

Damn, Straka scored 2 out of 3 our goals against Latvia, and the winning one had to be scored by a different player. Nevermind.

Howdy DanCan. I just noticed a spelling error in the standings/statistic thread. It should be D.Tjärnqvist instead of D.Tjärnström > D.Tärnström? I just thought it could be confusing with such similar names.

I look forward to see the game RUS-DEN on a TV. I have never seen the danish team playing before. I hope they won´t be just building a wall in front of their net, and they will encourage to offese too a little. Here is broadcasted all the possible games on a state TV. It means 29 live games together! There are usually 2 or 3 games a day. Dancan - do u get there games of Denmark? Or are in the Czech Republic in Ostrava?

Hey DanCan. We where wondering something here (and this was brought to my attention by Hungarianfan), but you have Ruthemann netting me 7 points. With 2 goals (including 1 GWG) and 2 assists, isn't that 3 pts for the GWG, 4 pts for the 2 goals and 2 points for the 2 assists = 9 pts?? Hungarianfan was telling me that Gaborik netted 6 pts yesterday (3 for GWG + 3 for SHG). My counter-arguement to him was that if he were right, then Gaborik should have netted 8 pts yesterday.... So we are a little confused here and looking for clarifications.... Thanks.

Gurj, I'm sorry, Rüthemann only gets 7 points. I made that clear yesterday: The stats for the first day has been posted. Note that Gaborik made 6 points for his shorthanded and goalwinning goal. If one player makes a goalwinning goal, you only get 3 points (not 5 for a goal and GWG). But since Gaborik's goal also was SH, he made 3+3 = 6 points. Also note, that I didn't credit Salomonsson (which I was the only one to chooce) with 7 points, but only 4 (GWG and an assist). And those who picked Alfredsson were only credited with 5 points for Alfredsson's two goals (3 for the SH and 2 for the EQ goal).

Balder, I will correct this. It was of course, Daniel Tjärnquist who scored, and I piced D. Tjärnquist (not Dick Tärnstrom or Matthias Tjärnquist). Nothing wrong with the standings.
