Acroni767, pick 4 players and add a joker. You don't change horses midstream.

I doubt Havlát will even join our team. Judging from his physical state.

Pheew, that was 2 sweaty minutes at the end. Next stop the shower! A pretty good game all in all.. But we've seen better from our teams though. Go Sweden! Go Finland!

Of course it had to happend. Finland is waiting for the final whistle and Sweden scores the luckiest goal of the century. But that's not new. It was very entertaining game and both teams played really good hockey.

Dancan, on saturday the 1st May I have chosen Koreshkov, but I hadnt realised that there are 2 players of this name. Y. Koreshkov had 2 assists, the next one had no canadian point the day, but of course don´t count those 2 points. It was my fault, I didnt specificate exact name of the player.

Thanks, Body Czech, that's sportsmanship! You're an honest guy. Marrella, Finland is never kind to smaller nations. They always win big, and Denmark was surely overmatched today. Yes, good day for USA, but very bad day for Russia. This could easily be turn out to be the worst WC ever for Russia. The team is not likely to reach the quarterfinals now, and that's terrible. I'm sure that we all will miss Kovalchuk and Ovechkin when it really counts. Also, I'm not sure that Tikhonov will last (he has a contract until 2006). Russia hasn't played bad, and they are in a very tough group, but Tikhonov hasn't looked good in the past few games. At least on two occassions where Russia was behind (I think against Sweden and USA) and the other team asked for a time out with a couple of minuts left, Tikhonov didn't coach his team!

I didn't pick Heatley only this day, of course he earned 6 points. I hope next day will be my day

Hey, DanCan, I had Jagr today (May 2) too. Would you add his 3 points to my score.

Hmmm....let me look at that. Did I subtract 10 points? I should only have subtracted 6 -- to make up for the six goals, Finland scored on Denmark the other day! No, of course Pihinalle, it will be fixed. btw, so to everyone's "surprise", Kazakhstan and Ukraine decided for a draw. Goodbye Japan!

This is not incidental that in my squad I decide not put any UKR and KAZ players, everyone knew what will happen. Funny but Latvia is the best team of former USSR! Congratulations! Young Austrian team didn’t keep their form to the end, they are to weak physically now but future could belong to them.
