With the release of the rosters this far, I can see that especially North American teams seem to rely on experience, meaning that they've picked players who go big by their name...
Not to put down these macgnificent and admirable players, but I seem to wonder that if some people have forgotten that there is a difference between terms "Star" and "Legend". Wonder if Gretzky would be there if he'd still be playing.
And to more speculative matters, which one of the teams will have lowest median age? Can't really say yet since not all of the groups have been revealed (and I'm actually too lazy to dig up the ages of all players made their way to the cup this far), but on behalf of team Finland, I can say that our this moment key players are all (with couple of exceptions let out) around ages 25-31 and when I look at the least, the oldest fellow you're going to see around from us is probably Teemu Selänne, 34 yrs old. Heck, the median age of team Finland will probably somewhere around 27-28.
Anyway, what do you think about this matters? Have they picked players just because they're big names still playing, (but past their glory days)? And which one of the teams will have the lowest median age? What about the highest?

I'm sure the highest will be the USA. Canada's isn't quite as high, though. I've worked out the mean ages for these two teams, but not the medians. I have all the ages at work.....I can check them out on Moday if you like.
