NIKOLISHIN HEADED TO CKSA MOSCOWsource: slam.canoe.ca/Slam040605/nhl_col-cp.html DENVER (CP) -- Forward Andrei Nikolishin could be the latest Colorado Avalanche player headed for Europe. Nikolishin told the Boulder Daily Camera he has a deal on the table to play with CKSA Moscow of the Russian Elite League. "All conditions are already stipulated," said Nikolishin, a 10-year NHL veteran. "The handshake has taken place. The rest will be settled without special complexities." Colorado goalie Tommy Salo signed a contract with the MoDo of the Swedish Elite League on Thursday, ending a 10-year career in the NHL. Nikolishin recorded five goals and 12 points for the Avalanche in the regular season, and added two assists in the playoffs.

Don't think either of these contracts are lock-out related. I think they are both just going home to finish their careers.
