Can anyone tell me what teams will be in the top French league next year? As Graham's continuing boredem/annoyance/downright frustration at all things to do with British hockey, I'm looking to see what teams we can easily get to in Northern Europe (I can call it that, because, like the Brits, the Scandinavians don't believe they are European either... ) without taking holidays. Last year I went to see Geleen play at Deurne, and had an excellent time... Also, if any of the teams have a typical night for playing, that would be useful to know. In particular, I'd be interested in what teams play on Saturday nights. I believe Dunkerque got relegated last year. Is the 2nd league in France worth watching, as that's obviously very easy and cheap for us to get to. Finally, when is the schedule usually announced? Thanks, Graham.

i think i'm the only one to answer the next season , there will be : Amiens Angers Anglet Briançon Clermont Dijon Dunkerque Epinal Gap Grenoble Morzine Mulhouse Rouen Tours Villard and Brest or Strasbourg , because Brest have financial problems , ans Strasbourg , which lose angaint Dunkerque for the qualification to the Super16 , could substitute Brest.

Excellent! Thanks a lot, diabolik. Now need to get the road atlas out and find out what are the easy ones to get to. Dunkerque still being in the Super 16 is good news for us. I know they aren't very good, but it saves having to pay for a car across the Channel... Graham.

if you have a problem to situate a town , i can help you...
more precisions:
Clermont ---> Clermont Ferrand Villard ---> Villard de Lans
it's the exact name of these towns , but in france , we just say clermont and villard , it's quickly
