Anyone seen the entire World Cup exhibition schedule yet? If so, please post it here.
Thanks in advance.

Anybody can tell me why to play the group games? Why not to start with the quarterfinals. By a toss. The group results don´t say anything.

The group stage determines the seeding for the quarterfinals. It also means more games, and more games=more money.

Actually, this exhibition game in Finland 26 August is Finland vs GERMANY.
I'd rather have Finland vs Sweden since I just got a ticket from a friend ..

OK, I think I've got the complete exhib game schedule now:
22 August, Slovakia vs Sweden 22 August, Germany vs Russia 23 August, USA vs Canada 23 August, Czech Republic vs Finland 25 August, Canada vs USA 25 August, Sweden vs Finland 25 August, Germany vs Czech Republic 26 August, Finland vs Germany 27 August, USA vs Russia 27 August, Czech Republic vs Sweden 28 August, Canada vs Slovakia 29 August, Slovakia vs Russia
That makes three exhibition games for each team. The schedule is complete.
Btw, Germany, Russia, Slovakia and Sweden open their training camps on 19 August, while Canada, Czech Republic, Finland and USA open theirs on 20 August.

I've got tickets for the three Ottawa games:
1. CAN-USA 2. CAN-SVK 3. RUS-SVK
It'll be funny to see all of the Ottawans cheering for Slovakia in the third game. Hossa and Chara are much loved players here.

The Ottawa crowd will be booing Yashin and cheering for Hoss & the Big Z!!!! Go Slovakia Go!!!
If anyone doesn't want to fork out the money for the actual game both Team Canada & Slovakia will be holding their training camps in Ottawa. Team Canada will split its training camp between the University of Ottawa & the Corel Centre starting August 19. Team Slovakia will split its training camp between University of Ottawa & the Robert Guertin Arena in Gatineau. No dates were given so I don't know what days the Slovaks will be here. I hope there will be an open to the general public session or some type of meet & greet the players so we can get some autographs! And maybe some photos!

Does Slovakia not get an exhibition @ home before coming over to North America......?
They did (against Germany) in 1996.

Jazz: There will be one exhibition game SVK vs. SWE, 22th of August, in Bratislava. Then the team will move to NA to play another two games vs. CAN and RUS (28/08 and 29/08). Eurohockey Services is organizing a camp for Czech and Slovak NHLers in the summer. There will be a golf and tennis tournaments, exhibition soccer game NHLers vs. former Czecho-Slovak soccer stars, exhibition hockey tournament in Mlada Boleslav (CZ) (with exhibtion rules: 10 min, 4 players), also with some entertainment (penalties etc.)
