Not officially, but they believe that the different varieties of Indian curry are now the most eaten dishes in the UK. I have read some reports that state the average Brit eats two Indian curries a week.
I'm below average. I probably average 3 to 4 a month...

no offense graham but having been on your grand island.. curry take away was a staple for a week .. the standard english fare was kinda ..well ..bland..but the was excellant.. really excellant

Phoned for a Balti takeaway on Friday night. The guy answering the phone asked us if we were OK because he hadn't heard from us in a couple of weeks.
I think we might be eating too many curries...
