I just got the Godfather trilogy on DVD, but probably my all time favorite is Breaking the Waves. Not a feel-good movie, but always gets me right here.... Thump thump.

Hmmm...let me see.
The last movie, I watched on tv (Saturday) was a tv movie called "911 - behind the scenes, or something. It was a socalled docu-movie which dealt with what happened in the White House in the hours and days after September 11. I believe the script closely followed Bob Woodward's book "Bush at War", and since I have already read that book, there was nothing new for me. But most of the characters looked like the real persons, except Secretary of State Powell.
The last DvD, I watched was the "Odessa File" from the 1970s, starring Jon Voigt. I'm very interested in the socalled last secret of WWII, namely what happened to the Nazi gold, how was the escape of high ranking SS officers to South America organized, what was the role of Juan and Evita Peron etc. Many of the classified files have lately been opened, and last year a new book called "The Real Odessa" put new light on the issues. Ken Forsyths book, The Odessa File, from the early 1960s, is largely outmoded, and the film was not as good as I have hoped it would be.
It's been a while since I have been to the Silver Screen. The last movie I watched was Sophia Coppola's fine little movie, Lost in Translation.

Last movie I watched was Casino with Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro. I love the classic Goodfellas too!
I've always been partial to mafia movies.

As for modern movies, I thought Mystic River was pretty good.
I remember seeing Fire in the Sky when I was 10 in the theatres. It caught my interest then! I think i'd still like it but not as much.
